YESTARDAY on 17th march I saw the match between INDIA and BANGLADESH of world cup 2007 and was surprised to see bangladeshian’s good performance against india’s so called STRONG batting line up which collapsed on total of 191 runs when three balls were to be bowled in the match.
Match started with INDIA winning the toss on the moistury pitch of trinada where our captain Rahul Dravid take the worst decision of the day for batting first on a seamy pitch whereas all CRICKET experts and commentator know that it is difficult to bat on this TRACK in early overs. But Indian team have to bat on such seaming wicket now and as we were afraid of INDIAN batsmen starts collapsing
With first downfall of wicket in the form of Virendar sehwag and then the story continue as the batmen were having a race that who go to DRESSING ROOM in how much less time but only one person STAND alone and fight against these bangladeshian bowler’s whose balls were fired like a BULLET out of gun and their bowling was so much accurate as they were playing marbles(we call it kanche in this game the stress is given on the accuracy of hitting point)
And the person fighting against these bullets was saurav Ganguly with some partenership of Yuvraj Singh .but they also get out aftermaking some increment on score board
Then the second inning continues with bangladesh’s consistent performance and they easly won this match with 5 wickets.
But one question arise in mind of every Indian that if we lost so easly by BANladesh then can we still dream of getting world cup. Actually now dreaming for it is a very big thing now it is necessary for us to win coming two mathches in the group if we wont to remain in world cup race
Some reason why India lost yesterday match
1) Decision of batting first on moist pitch
2) Early fifteen overs when ball was very much seaming
3) Difference of opinion between COACH (greg chapel) and senior cricketers.
4) Too much experimentation in team.
5) And last but a very important this is only due to our coach who have contributed to disputes in our team players
