Kite’s my first love…..


Tommorow is basant panchmi and my love for kites is elevating


(for my non-north Indian readers basant panchmi is a festival meant for worship of lord sarswati.and for children’s it is time for more and more kite’s)

I am very excited about this day.

“ Aur Alam ye hai ke bachpan se he kuch junoon sa hai patangbazee ko lekar”


right from my childhood I have an attraction for kites speeding high and high in the sky. I feel liberated and relaxed when thread is in my hand and my kite is attached to it.
I don’t know why but when I am with kites I feel enlightened. This day I truly understand what freedom really meant and what it meant to fly in the sky
I become a child again, tension free, stress free and calm.
I found this festival more significant than HOLI where we just use color and that too synthetic but here colors are in kites and whole sky become colourful with kites.and those colors can be seen in eyes of a 4 year child looking into the sky toward a flying kite………………..EAGERLY……. so that next moment it get cut by some other kite and come into his hands .
